Happy Friday! How pretty is this blush colored maxi skirt? Paired w girly embroidered flats & accessories; I love this feminine take on what I think at least, is an edgier look.  I have been noticing maxi skirts paired w crop tops everywhere.

On The Coast Of Somewhere Beautiful...

The short-lived warmer temps Connecticut had quickly dipped back to below 25 degrees and while I'm trying my best to embrace Winter, I am this close to jet-setting someplace in a Kenny Chesney song. "On the coast of somewhere beautiful..."

A place where I can dance in the sand and wear this fabulous ensemble.

Jumpsuits are slowly growing on me & I'm in love with this one from Tory Burch. When my Mom noticed they were back in style she said she should have saved her collection of silk jumpsuits from the 70's/80's for me...I wish she had! Note to self: save clothes for future daughter's vintage collection. 

Per usual, I'm loving all the navy resort wear that is out right now; especially with pops of gold & coral.

If you haven't already, you must check out this jewlery designer I stumbled upon- Keyla Torres of Kei Jewelry. Elegant and unique pieces with natural elements. I love her necklaces. I used the gold starfish necklace, blue lapis lazuli necklace & evil eye bracelet here but check out the rest of her collection; super gorgeous and really great prices.

Lobster Sweater Weather

This past weekend, my sister & I took advantage of the warmer temps in New England and headed up to one of our favorite spots on the Connecticut coast. Even though it was gorgeous and sunny out with a February heat-wave of 50ish degrees, it still was not as warm as we hoped. We were a little frigid on the breezy coast line. In my opinion, any day is a good day to be by the shore but...summer come soon, please!!!

We still had a fun adventure and my sister was kind enough to snap a few pictures so I could post my first outfit to the blog. Thanks Britt :)

Hope you all have a lovely weekend! My sister & I are on a little coastal day trip today; planning to soak up the sunshine and warmer temps. Yes, 50 degrees is like a heat wave in February! We are in search of a taste of summer. I can't wait to share it with you next week!

"Nautical Roots. An American Spirit." Loveliness at Land's End!

 Land's End. Their clothes are all-American, excellent quality and have been around for a very long time; "Nautical roots, an American spirit" as they say...all concepts that I most certainly do love. 

However, I think the last time I owned something from here was back when I was a child...school-uniform basics, snow pants & mittens. Anywho...I pulled their latest catalog out of the mailbox the other day and was blown away! The new arrivals at Land's End right now are full of bright, fresh florals and youthful nautical looks. To top it off, they are currently having a Friends & Family sale with 25% off. You can clear space in your closet later...now run on over (or simply hop online) to Nordstrom, Lord&Taylor, Piperlime & J. Crew...just to name a few of the places having major, glorious, fantastic shoe sales!
I pulled together different styles to make this lovely little collection above. There are pairs to wear now, a few to tuck away for Spring and even boots you can hide on your top shelf until Fall. Better to be prepared, right?!

 I tend to fill up my online shopping cart & "pretend" shop...my virtual version of window shopping. I know if I don't act on at least one of these deals I'll regret it later!
